Privacy notice for Talk booking links
Last updated November 2, 2026.
Who runs this
Talk booking links are run by UXLab Limited, a company registered in Ireland. Contact us at hello@uxlabs.app.
This notice covers booking pages on talk.uxlabs.app and the emails they send. The Talk app has its own privacy policy.
What we keep when you request a time
- Your name, email address, and the note you write, if any.
- The time you picked and your time zone, so emails show the right time.
- Your IP address, used only to limit abuse. We store it as a scrambled value that changes every day, never as the address itself.
These pages use no cookies, no analytics, and nothing from other websites.
Who sees it
The person who shared the link sees your name, email, note, and the time you asked for, in their Talk app. Talk never reads or uploads their calendar. Their phone checks it, and they confirm or decline.
Why we use it
To pass your request on, tell you the answer, and let you change or cancel. The legal basis is taking steps you asked for. Limiting abuse is in everyone's legitimate interest.
Where it's stored
Booking pages run on servers rented from DreamHost in Oregon, United States. Booking emails pass through DreamHost and MailChannels, also in the United States. So your details are stored outside the EU and the UK. Apple's notification service receives only a reference number, never your details.
How long we keep it
- A booking is deleted 30 days after the meeting.
- A request that was declined, lapsed, or canceled is deleted 30 days after that happened.
- Our logs and backups are deleted after 14 days.
- DreamHost keeps its web logs for 7 days and its own backups for about 2 weeks, so deleted details can last that long there.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by emailing hello@uxlabs.app. You can cancel a request or booking yourself with the link in your email. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, or to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're in the UK.
